July 17, 2026·1 min read

Around 60 km from Tirupati, Talakona Waterfall is the tallest waterfall in Andhra Pradesh, plunging approximately 270 feet through the dense forests of Sri Venkateswara National Park — a 353-sq-km biosphere reserve in the Eastern Ghats boasting over 175 bird species. Guests can hike through forest trails, take a refreshing dip, and spot exotic wildlife; it is also believed that the herbal-enriched waters of the falls have healing properties.
